Day Eight. It’s getting very serious.

Look at what I learned! A new master class has been added to Muffin’s Training Program for Beginner Kittens: “How Not to Fall Through The Snow”. And I was instructed to lay out a small amount of learning material.

Surface pressure can be calculated according to the following formula: p = m * g/S.

Given: p1 = 1635Pa

We are able to calculate the following: p2 = m2 * g/S = 9kg * 9.81N / 0.03m2 = 2942Pa

where:
p1 — Paw pressure on the snow before the Christmas holidays,
p2 — Paw pressure after the holidays,
m2 — Cat weight after the holidays,
S — Surface area of snow,
g — Acceleration of gravity.

The maximum pressure that the first press can withstand is 2,000 Pa.

It’s hard to be a cat.
